Malvarrosa/Playa de Las Arenas

Here you find one of the most popular beaches in Valencia, the closest and most easily accessible by foot, bike or bus from our accommodations. This urban beach is perfect for those who want to combine city life with a relaxed beach atmosphere.

The golden sands stretch over 1.5 kilometers, making it ideal for sunbathing, playing beach sports such as Volleyball, jet skiing, paddle boarding, as well as being popular for joggers and ramblers taking leisurely walks along the shore. Families love it here for its strip of beach bars and restaurants - Friends love Marina Beach Club for evening fun!

El Saler Beach

If you desire a quieter experience, El Saler Beach is a hidden gem just south of Valencia. Located in the Albufera Natural Park, this beach is surrounded by nature and offers a peaceful setting.

El Saler presents a tranquil atmosphere with fine sandy shores and impressive dunes. The backdrop of lush pine forests enhances its beauty, making it a perfect escape for relaxation.

Visitors can enjoy peaceful walks along the beach or through the Natural Park, swimming in the turquoise clear waters, or unwinding with a book. Wildlife enthusiasts will also appreciate the diverse bird species found in the area, enriching the overall experience.

Get here by bus or cycling takes just 40minutes. There are no sun loungers or sombreros here, so be sure to pack a beach umbrella!

Our insider tip: book a paella lunch at Ca Pepe, a family run traditional restaurant or continue a little further south for dinner on the rooftop of Nou Raco overlooking the lagoon and enjoy sunset. On a tighter budget? Hop on board a fisherman boat for a cheap trip around the lagoon to enjoy sunset or do as the locals do, and take a picnic to enjoy on the piers.

Playa de La Patacona

Head further north of Malvarossa beach, and you will find Playa de La Patacona, an inviting extension of La Malvarrosa, distinctly known for its charming ambiance. This beach tends to be less crowded, making it a great spot for relaxation.

Along the shore, you'll find many beach bars and restaurants serving traditional tapas and refreshing drinks. This makes it a perfect place to enjoy a leisurely meal or socialize with friends.

Our insider tip: During the summer, Chiringuitos (beach bars) are built on the sands and become a meeting point for evening drinks, live music and relaxed vibes on the warm evenings. If you have a sweet tooth, Las Mas Bonitas is the spot to go to for an iced coffee and cake!

Port Saplaya

Just north of Patacona beach you will find Port Saplaya, nicknamed "Little Venice" due to its colourful marina of beautiful apartments and local restaurants. Cycling here is the easiest method, then stroll around the marina getting cute photos then treat yourself to an ice cream or an ice cold horchata (nut milk) - a locals favourite.
